Who is Dr. Hamlin-Glover


Dr. Hamlin-Glover works with individuals, couples, families, and businesses looking to create an environment that shifts from discord to harmony, moving from dysfunction to enjoying and respecting relationships with one another.

  

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Supervisor, it gives Dr. Hamlin-Glover pleasure to provide quality and excellent service in helping clients overcome an array of challenges, such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, life skills, grief, trauma, on the job difficulties, and inability to problem-solve effectively and achieve their personal goals within a short period of time.


Currently, Dr. Hamlin-Glover is an online adjunct professor teaching graduate studies with the Department of Community Care and Counseling, School of Behavioral Sciences at Liberty University. She has a wide-range of qualitative research and experience in behavioral, family, and child sciences. She is also an Approved Supervisor with the state of Alabama. Dr. Hamlin-Glover takes a special interest in military families and resilience as she is the wife of an Active Duty Service Member.

 Dr. Hamlin-Glover is committed to restoring relationships in both military and civilian communities.  She is also an advocate for Faith-Based organizations taking the lead on educating urban communities on mental health illnesses. She encourages individuals to be attentive to their minds, bodies, interpersonal and spiritual relationships (God, family, and spouse) as this is significant to a healthy and better “You”.

Dr. Hamlin-Glover has over 20 years of experience working in the Mental Health field:  Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, teaching, consulting, supervisor, and coaching.

Deion Dowling-Associate

BACKGROUND

Deion Dowling is a compassionate and dedicated graduate student pursuing a Master’s Degree in Counseling, focusing on Human Development and Family Studies'. With a deep commitment to supporting individuals on their journey toward growth and healing, Deion enjoys using evidence-based practices and a warm, empathetic approach to create a safe and supportive environment. Passionate about helping clients navigate life’s challenges, Mr. Dowling is particularly interested in anxiety and relationship dynamics.

Under the supervision of experienced professionals, Mr. Dowling is committed to providing thoughtful and client-centered care as he continues to develop his skills and expertise.   

Angelique Hudson, Associate

 

BACKGROUND

Angelique is a Life Pacific University alumnus and is currently in her final semester at Oral Roberts University, where she is receiving a master’s degree in professional counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has over a decade of experience in leadership, establishing and casting strategic vision for new and existing family programs. She has years of experience working with families and students through difficult situations, providing guidance and care. Working with students and families helped her develop a passion for seeing people find wholeness in themselves and their relationships. She has a passion for walking with others as they process different seasons of their lives. She is an LMFT-A under the supervision of Dr. Denise Hamlin-Glover


APPROACH

My approach to counseling sessions is to create a safe space for you to share what you are experiencing. It is my goal to allow you to lead the way so that we can explore what you are experiencing together. I will create an environment for you to explore and facilitate where you currently find yourself in life and provide you with tools that are meant to empower you to move toward the goals that you have set for yourself. I am committed to seeing individuals, couples, and families overcome a variety of challenges such as anxiety, grief, depression, communication, and relational dysfunction. 


She sees individuals 13 and up Self-pay - $80 for 60 min

Katelyn Mandeville-Graduate Level Intern

BACKGROUND

Katie works with adolescents and adults who are navigating stress, identity development, relationship challenges, and seasons of transition. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered, integrating evidence-based practices such as CBT, mindfulness, and expressive interventions to support insight, balance, and meaningful change. She values authenticity, humor, and empowerment in the counseling process, and strives to create a space where clients feel seen, supported, and capable of growth.

Katie offers an integrative style that honors both emotional experience and practical skill-building. She works from a Cognitive-Behavioral, Psychodynamic, and Existential lens to help clients reduce anxiety, build self-trust, strengthen boundaries, and reconnect with what brings them purpose and joy.


She is a CMHC master’s student at Auburn University, practicing under the clinical supervision of Dr. Denise Hamlin-Glover, and is committed to ethical, multicultural, and client-centered care. Sessions are available in person at a discounted price.
